Image
Actors: All four of us will be an actor, Ericson will play Faelon, Cornelius will play Demitrius, Matej will play Milo, and I will play Salem Costumes: The costumes need to be modern and colorful to show the happy mood. The pieces to all our costumes still need to be purchased. Props: We need to buy some candy, coffee, and some books for our film Locations: Our location will be in a mall, a park, and my house. (No further details of our whereabouts will be discussed :)) When we get there, we will receive our permission to record.  Dates and Times: We plan on filming in two weeks, starting in the morning and ending in the afternoon. This is set to show the sun setting on the illusion Faelon created. Film Equipment: We will use a filming camera and a phone to record our video. Ericson already has a camera and we all already have phones. Not to mention we all have editing apps already.

Film Opener Mood Board

Image
Psy cho s is:  Moo d B oar d: With this mood board I intended to capture the fever dream that this movie opener will be. We chose this to make the film seem so happy, its unsettling to see the ending. This fits the genre of horror because it unsettles the audience.

Initial Storyboard

Image
Storyboard: Psychosis!          In the process of making the storyboard, I did all the drawings. This includes the coloring, and I also wrote the information down. Input given from my group members was taken into consideration as I filled in the information.     The story starts with the characters walking happily until the plot starts, and the ringing starts. The scribbles around Faelon show the shaking that takes place, and the arrows show when and where the camera zooms in.      The darkness of reality is only visible in the last shot where Faelon is alone. This shows the lighting choice with dark shading.

Initial Script

Image
How did you help in creating the script and story? I structured the script and planned in which the events in the story take place. I also assisted in creating all the scenes, grammatical errors, and properly formatting the script itself. How will your target audience be able to relate to the story? Our target audience is anyone with any mental health issues. This story shows the events of someone who experiences psychosis through their point of view while being entertaining. How are you going to draw your audience into the story within these first two minutes? We attract our audience by adding the unsettling element of the unknown. When the ringing first starts, it is something the audience has yet to see, effectively hooking them for the rest of the film.
